Our Community Affairs Mission
The mission of Savvis Cares is to build stronger communities through community investment, workplace giving and community involvement.
Our employee matching gifts program allows Savvis to support the charities that are of interest to employees all over the world.
Our corporate giving primarily supports organizations and programs that leverage technology to improve communities which are aligned with the following focus areas:
- Access: Bridging the gap between technology and individuals who need it the most
- Education: Providing enhanced learning through the teaching of information technology
- Innovation: Inspiring and supporting the people who create the future of technology
Special consideration will be given to grant requests that support our corporate giving mission with an emphasis on human services, the environment, youth development, health and the arts. Please view our corporate giving guidelines.
Our employees provide support to the United Way of Greater St. Louis and its member agencies by giving generously through our annual campaign at our headquarters location. In addition, employees at Savvis locations coordinate local community service and employee events that support a number of organizations.
Savvis recognizes that our employees play important roles in enhancing the quality of life in our communities.
The Savvis Community Service Day provides one paid day off per calendar year to each employee for volunteer activities planned in conjunction with our Savvis Community Service Day guidelines. In addition, Savvis teams volunteer to support agencies in locations where our employees live and work.
